Allegheny Health Network has received approval to build a new hospital in Harmar. The Harmar supervisors gave their final approval for a 10-bed hospital on two vacant properties at Freeport Rd. and Guys Run Rd., the Tribune-Review reports.
David Goldberg, vice-president at Allegheny Health Network, said that construction would begin within a few months and could take up to 12 to 14 months.
New York-based developer Seavest is the developer for the Harmar hospital. The total project cost will be around $17 million, according to Goldberg who also said that the hospital will have 20,000 to 30,000 sq. ft. of space.
