The St. Luke’s University Health Network and Geisinger have broken ground on a new 80-bed hospital near Orwigsburg in southern Schuylkill County.
The three-story, 120,000-sq.-ft. facility is located on Paramount Blvd. off Route 61 in West Brunswick Township near Orwigsburg.
At its peak, the construction of the Geisinger St. Luke’s Hospital will employ over 200 construction workers through dozens of contractors.
Construction is expected to be completed in the fourth quarter of 2019.
