Construction underway on $120M Wilkes-Barre Area High School

Wilkes-Barre Area School District is building a $120-million high school.

Construction is well underway on the new project which is scheduled to be ready for the 2021-2022 school year, according to a report by PAHomePage.

The school is being built on a 78-acre site. The project is designed to consolidate all three district high schools: Meyers, GAR and Coughlin.
