Pittsburgh-based autonomous vehicle company Argo AI is planning to expand its local test track, according to a report from WPXI.
However, the company did not disclose any details about the project.
Nick Twork, senior communications counsel at Argo AI, declined to provide the details of the test track, including size and cost, to WPXI.
Volkswagen AG is the second investor of Argo. The automaker will invest $2.6 billion in the Pittsburgh-based autonomous vehicle company by committing $1 billion in funding and contributing its autonomous intelligent driving company, valued at $1.6 billion. Ford Motors also holds a stake in Argo.
