Limerick Township has started construction on a new trail that will run through Kurylo Preserve to Limerick Community Park, reported Patch.

The trail will run for about two miles to Limerick Community Park. Around three quarters of a mile of the trail will be completed in the first phase, according to the township.

The $300,000 project is being funded in part by a $150,000 grant from the state’s Department of Conservation and Natural Resources, as well as Montgomery County’s Green Fields/Green Towns program.
