Live! Casino & Hotel Philadelphia has selected Gilbane Building Co. as the general contractor for the new $700 million project.
Live! Casino is building a sports, entertainment and casino resort destination at 900 Packer Ave. between 10th and Darien streets, in the heart of the South Philadelphia Stadium District.
The 1.5-million-sq.-ft. facility will include 2,200 slots and electronic table games, more than 150 live action table games, a 200+ boutique hotel, restaurants and live entertainment venues, valet parking and an approximately 2,700 space parking garage.
Gilbane will lead construction activities involving total demolition of the existing Holiday Inn and adjacent buildings to make way for the new development.
Live! The event is open to the contracting public and will include a project overview, bid package information, and the opportunity to meet one-on-one with the estimating team. Representatives from the Office of Economic Opportunity (OEO) will also be available.
