Clearly Clean Products, a manufacturer of recyclable plastic trays for retail food products, is expanding its presence in Schuylkill County.

The company will purchase and renovate an 80,000-sq.-ft. building in Frackville that will be used as a thermoforming plant and warehouse for the company’s finished products.

Following the establishment of the facility, Clearly Clean plans to build a 45,000-sq.-ft. production and engineering facility next to its current facility in Orwigsburg.

The company plans to invest more than $10 million into the project, which is expected to create more than 125 new, full-time jobs over the next three years.

Clearly Clean received a funding proposal from the Department of Community and Economic Development for a $350,000 Pennsylvania First grant and $252,000 in Job Creation Tax Credits to be distributed upon the creation of new jobs.

The company was also encouraged to apply for a $3 million low-interest loan through the Pennsylvania Industrial Development Authority.
