Rugby Realty is planning to build a seven-story office building in Pittsburgh.

The company has proposed the building with two floors of parking and ground-floor shops on the site of a former banana warehouse and fish market in the city’s Strip District, Trib Live reported.

The real estate developer made a request with the Pittsburgh Zoning Board of Adjustment for exceeding the maximum building height permitted in the Strip District. City zoning requires buildings to be four stories or less.

“We hope to start in September and take 18 to 24 months for construction,” Rugby CEO Larry Walsh was quoted as saying.

The hearing on the request will be held in June.
